29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a)Pitbull Construction, Inc. at 1917 Firestone Lane, Sioux Falls, SD 57110: On or about and at times prior to May 12, 2021 the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls while conducting framing operations. Employees were erecting second-story exterior walls on a residential home with no fall protection in place. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 12 feet. Pitbull Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1514173, citation number 1, item number 3a, and was affirmed as a final order on May 6, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 412 North Willow Creek Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57110.
