29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: A) Exterior on the ladder below the scaffold: An employee was exposed to head injuries while working below another employee that was conducting siding work above. The employee was not protected by a hard hat or protective helmet, on or about March 4th, 2021. NOTE: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
