29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Second Floor - A laborer and mason were observed standing near an open edge while retrieving concrete masonry units from a stack and were not protected from a 17 foot, 9 inch fall hazard, on or about 05/11/2021. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
