29 CFR 1926.652(g)(2): Excavations of earth material to a level no greater than 2 feet (.61m) below the bottom of a shield was permitted: a) Woodside Development, Paletown Rd., Quakertown: On or about May 17, 2021, an employee performed work inside a trench within a trench box that was approximately 4 feet from the bottom, exposing the employee to a cave-in hazard. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
