Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.  On or about May 20, 2021, employees were observed working on roof of a single family home at a job site located at 3957 White Oak Trail, Beachwood, OH 44122. The employer did not ensure exposed employees were protected from falls by utilizing a PFAS or protected by any other form of fall protection system at an approximate fall height of 18 ft.
