29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(ii)(E):Reusable sharps that were contaminated with blood or other potentially infectious material were not stored or processed in a manner that required employees to reach by hand into the containers where these sharps had been placed: 8 OLD MILL ROAD, SIMSBURY, CT: On or about May 12, 2021, employees provided support to the local health district during COVID vaccination clinics. During the clinics, used sharps were placed into sharps containers. At the end of each clinic, the containers were closed but not locked, and brought back to the main office where they were emptied into larger sharps containers.
