LayVay Home Improvement, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1486183, citation number 01, item number 01, and was affirmed as a final order on 02/08/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 136 Union Street, Vernon, CT 06066.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about 5/25/2021 employees at the Park Avenue roofing project were exposed to approximately 15' falls from a ladder that did not extend at least three feet above the landing. The ladder was positioned just above the garage. LayVay Home Improvement, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926. 1053(b)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1486183, citation number 01, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/08/2021, with respect to a workplace located at: 136 Union Street, Vernon, CT 06066.
