29 CFR 1926.1060(a):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would enable each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. Location: Fox Hill Inn, 506 Candlewood Lake Road, Brookfield, CT 06804 - On or about May 11, 2021, employees using ladders had not been provided with a training program to recognize hazards related to ladders and stairways and procedures to minimize hazards related to ladder and stairways. While performing exterior building painting activities, an employee using a "Louisville" 24' aluminum extension ladder fell approximately ten feet and sustained a laceration injury to the top of his head after landing on the exterior steps and/or walkway below where he was working.
