29 CFR  1910.22(a)(1):(1) All places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.  a) 1704 W Newport Pike Wilmington, DE - On or about June 1, 2021, it was observed that the employer improperly stored combustibles and hazardous chemical in a room [approximately 8' X 12'] with an electrical panel in an unorderly manner.

29 CFR  1910.28(b)(1)(i):(1) Unprotected sides and edges.  (i) Except as provided elsewhere in this section, the employer must ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the following:  a) 1704 W Newport Pike Wilmington, DE - On or about June 1, 2021, the employer did not ensure each employee was protected from falls while transporting carts of mail and parcels from a truck on to the loading dock with unprotected side or edge.

29 CFR  1910.303(g)(1):Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:  a) 1704 W. Newport Avenue Wilmington, DE 19804 - On or about June 1, 2021, employees were exposed to hazards due to the access and working space around the electrical panels being used to store hazardous chemicals and combustible materials.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)  a) 1704 W Newport Pike Wilmington, DE - On or about June 1, 2021, it was observed that the employer failed to adequately inform and train employees exposed to hazardous chemicals including, but not limited to cleaning products such as Pure Bright and Simple Clean.  Abatement Note: Information and training must be conducted in accordance with paragraph (h) of this section.  Additionally, the training must address:  The hazards associated with exposure to hazardous chemical products which are Sodium hypochlorite and Methlchloroisothiazolinone.
