29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: 74 Village Hill Rd., Northampton, MA: On or about May 24, 2021, an employee was observed on the roof of this building more than 25 feet above the ground below without any fall protection in use. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1). Sun System Technology (SST Construction, LLC) was previously cited for a violation of a substantially similar occupational safety and health standard CFR 1910.28 (b) 1 i, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1505458, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 4/13/21, with respect to a workplace located at 859 Farrington Corner Rd., Hopkinton, NH.
