29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:  The employer is failing to protect employees from eye injuries associated with operating pneumatic nail guns. This was most recently observed at 11853 S. 113th St., Papillion, Nebraska on June 03, 2021. Employees were working on the roof of a new residential structure, operating a pneumatic nail gun without the use of an appropriate eye protection.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards while performing residential roofing activities. This was most recently observed at 11853 S 113th St., Papillion, Nebraska on June 03, 2021 where the employer has employees installing roof materials on a new residential home without fall protection where the ground to eave was 10 feet.

29 CFR  1926.1052(c)(1):Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail and one stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge:  The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards while utilizing the stairway inside a new residential construction home. This was most recently observed at 11853 S 113th St., Papillion, Nebraska on June 03, 2021 when employees were utilizing a stairway constructed as means of access and egress from the basement through the first floor and onto the second floor. The stairway did not have a stair rail system installed for the unprotected sides.
