Worksite: The employer did not ensure that the circular hand fed rip saw that was used by the employee to rip/cut wood trim was guarded with a hood that completely enclosed the portion of the saw above the table. On or about 05/28/2021, an employee sustained severe injuries (amputations of the left ring and middle finger) while cutting a piece of wood trim with a portable table saw.
