29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-sloped roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line systems and guardrail systems, warning line systems and safety net systems, or warning line systems and personal fall arrest systems, or warning line systems and safety monitoring systems: (a) On or about June 8, 2021, employees engaged in re-roofing (tear off) on an existing commercial building with a 5/12 pitched roof, were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet.
