29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  Jobsite: The employer did not ensure that each employee who was exposed fall hazards while scarifying the concrete plaza area was protected.   On 7 Jun 2021, an employee was hospitalized and suffered multiple broken bones when he fell from the top of the plaza area.  The Premier Building Associates LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.502(d)(16)(iii), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1483728, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02 Sep 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1599 King Street Enfield CT 06082.
