Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc. a) Pressery, LLC, 4600 Joliet St, Denver, CO 80239: On and before 06/08/2021, machine specific guards were not utilized on the Single-Belt Juice Press to prevent exposure of employees to hazards while production operations were being conducted. This condition exposed employees to safety hazards such as, but not limited to: - Lacerations - Burns - Caught-in hazards from Ingoing Nip Points and Rotating Parts

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1)(ii):The required working space about electric equipment rated 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground, was used for storage: (a) Presesry, LLC, 4600 Joliet St, Denver, CO 80239: On and before 6/8/2021, the electrical panel just outside the Cold Room had a mop bucket stored directly beneath it, thus creating exposure of employees to electrical and fire hazards. (b) Pressery, LLC, 4600 Joliet St, Denver, CO 80239: On and before 6/8/2021, the electrical switches in the Powered Fork Truck charging area were completely blocked by a pallet of product. The pallet did not allow any form of access to the switches, exposing employees to electrical and fire hazards. (c) Pressery, LLC, 4600 Joliet St, Denver, CO 80239: On and before 6/8/2021, the electrical panels inside the maintenance department were completely blocked by tools and other miscellaneous maintenance equipment, exposing employees to electrical and fire hazards.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A):Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: (a) Pressery, LLC, 4600 Joliet St, Denver, CO 80239: On and before 6/8/2021, flexible cords were being utilized as permanent power for the purpose of charging a powered man lift between the Cold Room and Hot Room, just outside of the Maintenance area at Pressery. This condition exposed employees to electrical hazards.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding were not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. a) Pressery, LLC at 4600 Joliet St., Denver, CO 80239: On and before 7/24/2021 machine specific guards were not utilized to prevent injuries to employees while cleaning and sanitization operations were being conducted on: -Zumex Z450 This condition exposed employees to laceration and amputation hazards. An employee experienced an amputation while conducting cleaning and sanitization tasks on the Zumex which was not properly guarded at the point of operation.
