29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1):The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: a.) Trinity Living Center, LP dba Quality Life Services-Grove City, located at 400 Hill Crest Avenue Grove City, PA: On or about June 11th, 2021, the employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine each employee's ability to use a N95 respirator before requiring the use. The employer required employees to wear N95 filtering facepiece respirators while providing care to residents in areas of the facility where there were potential COVID-19 exposure hazards. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
