29 CFR 1910.1026(d)(1): The employer did not determine the 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA) exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI) in accordance with either paragraph (d)(2) or paragraph (d)(3) of this section: On or about June 16 2021, in the fabrication shop, the employer did not assess employee exposures to chromium (VI) [hexavalent chromium or Cr(VI)] to include but not limited to determination of the extent and degree of exposure; identification and prevention of employee overexposure; and identification of the sources of exposure to Cr(VI), when welding on stainless steel. This condition creates exposure to inhalation hazards.
