29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On or about June 16, 2021, and at times prior thereto, the back side of the Chicago press brake (Model 810-L) was not blocked off or guarded exposing employees to struck-by and caught-in hazards. b) On or about June 16, 2021, and at times prior thereto, the area near the moving table of the CNC punch press was not blocked off or guarded exposing employees to struck-by and caught-in hazards.
