29 CFR  1910.1450(f)(4)(i)(C): Employee training did not include the measures employees could take to protect themselves from the physical and health hazards of chemicals in the work area, including specific procedures implemented to protect employees from hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures, and personal protective equipment to be used:   In the Wet Chemistry Laboratory at 39 Spruce Street, East Longmeadow, MA: On and before June 8, 2021, the employer had not provided all laboratory employees with training on measures employees could take to protect themselves from the physical and health hazards of all chemicals in the work area, such as specific procedures required while handling hydrochloric acid.  Employees were exposed to inhalation hazards while diluting hydrochloric acid on a benchtop and while rinsing glassware with hydrochloric acid wash solution in an open sink.
