29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: a) New residential construction, LOT 127, top plate: On or about 6/25/2021, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards , in that they are operating a Metabo, NR83A5, 3-1/4 strip nail gun at 140 PSI without eye protection. Safety glasses were not provided to employees while conducting framing activities prior to the beginning of the work day.

(a) New residential construction, Lot 127, Top plate : On or about 6/25/2021, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards , in that they are operating a pneumatic Metabo NR83A5 3 1/4 inch strip Nail Gun at 140 PSI . The operating air pressure for this tool is between 70-120PSI. The Craftsman air compressor regulator was showing 140 PSI. Employee was conducting framing activities
