29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(4):Ladders shall be used only for the purpose for which they were designed.  a) Worksite was located at 676 Avenue E, Bayonne, NJ 07002  An employee was exposed to fall hazards of more than six feet as he was misusing a multi-position ladder to access a window frame over an entry door with only one point of contact on the ladder and no fall protection.  Violation was observed on or about June 24, 2021.  b) Worksite was located at 676 Avenue E, Bayonne, NJ 07002  An employee was exposed to fall hazards of more than eleven feet as he was misusing a multi-position ladder to paint the ceiling of the lobby while straddling over the top of the ladder with one leg on each side of the ladder.  Violation was observed on or about June 24, 2021.
