29 CFR  1926.21(b)(2):The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s) and the regulation(s) applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury:  a) Worksite was located at 263 Avenue A, Bayonne, NJ 07002  Employees building a new front porch were not trained to recognize the health hazards associated with working with both Lehigh Type I Portland Cement and Lehigh Type M Masonry Cement exposing them to both respiratory and caustic burn injuries.  Violation was observed on or about June 24, 2021

Violation was observed on or about June 24, 2021  b) Worksite was located at 263 Avenue A, Bayonne, NJ 07002  An employee was exposed to caustic burns as he was laying block and brick with Lehigh Type I Portland Cement and Lehigh Type M Masonry Cement while not wearing protective gloves.
