29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. 29 Reservoir Ave Jersey City, NJ Employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 10ft while performing framing activities without a fall protection system. Violation occurred on or about 06/24/2021 Castro Framing Contractor LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1469222, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 03/17/21 with respect to a workplace located at 589 Central Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07307.
