29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  a) Building Exterior: Employees were exposed to eye/face injuries while cutting concrete using a hand held Hilti saw and was not protected with any type of eye/face protection, on or about 6/29/21.

29 CFR 1926.150(a)(1): The employer did not develop and maintain a fire protection program to be followed throughout all phases of construction and demolition work, and/or did not provide for the firefighting equipment as specified in this subpart:  a) Minoyan Properties LLC, does not ensure that employees have available firefighting equipment at the jobsite. This violation was most recently observed at 140 Carver Rd West Wood  NJ. The employer did not provide any firefighting equipment at the jobsite. Gasoline fueled demo saw was used.  Extra gasoline to fuel the demo saw was stored in gas cans on the site, on or about 6/29/21.

29 CFR 1926.1153(c)(2)(ii): Water was not applied at flow rates sufficient to minimize release of visible dust for tasks performed using wet methods:  a) Building Exterior - Front Sidewalk: The employer did not apply water to minimize the release of visible dust while dry cutting a side walk, the employee was exposed to silica dust while dry cutting concrete blocks with a handheld Hilti saw, on or about 6/29/21.
