29 CFR 1926.1060(a)(1):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders as necessary, enabling each employee to recognize hazards related to ladders and the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards. (a) On or about June 16, 2021, employees conducting vinyl window trim installation (J channel)/siding) from portable A-Frame ladders had not been trained to recognize and minimize the hazards associated with working from ladders. This includes, but not limited to, the proper use, placement, and care in handling of all ladders.
