1926.20(b)(1): The employer did not initiate and maintain an accident prevention program as may be necessary to comply with this part: a) On or about June 30, 2021 at 500 College Avenue Swarthmore, PA 19081 worksite, employees performing plumbing duties outdoors were exposed to excessive heat. Employees worked for approximately 6 hours in temperatures up to 97�F and a heat index that reached 106.3�F. This exposure contributed to employee experiencing symptoms related to heat exhaustion and hospitalization. The employer did not initiate, maintain and enforce a accident prevention program and procedure to prevent heat-related illness, including but not limited to a work/rest cycle and an effective heat acclimatization program.  The condition was noted to occur on or about June 30, 2021.
