29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Ball Aerospace, 1600 Commerce Street, Boulder, CO 80301: On and before June 15, 2021, machine guards were not utilized on the Rockwell Table Saw, series number 34-450 / serial number FG-7553, to prevent exposure of employees to amputation and struck-by hazards while cutting and ripping operations were being conducted. An employee suffered a finger amputation.
