29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Programs did not provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers: a) Jobsite: On June 30, 2021 and at times prior thereto the controlling employer, CM Company, Inc., did not ensure that the dismantling, moving and set up of a walk through type scaffold was done under the supervision and direction of their sub-contractors competent person, before allowing employees to work from the scaffold. Discrepancies included base plates were not installed on any of the scaffold legs, mud sills were cracked or off center and a safe means of access was not used. Note) Certification of corrective action is required for this item.
