29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: a) Midlantic Precision Inc. - Production area: The Delta 6" Bench grinder model #23680, S/N P8916 with dual abrasive wheels, the Delta 6" Bench Grinder model#23-680, S/N P8802 and the Jet 8" Bench Grinder Model #JBG-8A, S/N 1707317A with dual abrasive wheels have adjustable tongue guards that exceeded the requirement opening distance between the abrasive wheel and the peripheral member. The space was approximately between half an inch to one inch. Occurred on about on or about 07/07/2021.
