29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) On June 26, 2021 and times prior, for the employees exposed to amputation hazards where the employer failed to ensure that the discharge guard of the rotary air lock remained in place and was effective in preventing employee exposure to the rotating internal components in the dust collector system, at or near 1301 39th Street North in Fargo, North Dakota.
