29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1):Energy control program. The employer shall establish a program consisting of energy control procedures, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performs any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment shall be isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative. a) Cabinet Tronics, Inc. - Throughout the Production Area: The employer did not establish a Lock Out/Tag Out Program to implement procedures and training to ensure that the employees providing minor maintenance to machinery are using the energy control program. Machinery or equipment includes but is not limited to; Akron 435, Model #76456, S/N N5550N0567, Giben Model # SMART SP, S/N910288, STRATOS PRO Machine, HOLZ HER Machine Type #1265, S/N 6014/9-705 (1997), AVG-48-UM-FT Machine, etc., observed on or about 10/05/2017.
