29 CFR OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) Work site was located at 9 Woodland Road, Roseland, NJ 07066 An employee was exposed to fall hazards as he did not recognize the poor condition of the tree he was climbing and fell approximately 25 feet from where the tree failed. Violation occurred on or about July 10, 2021. b) Work site was located at 9 Woodland Road, Roseland, NJ 07066 Employees were exposed to struck by and fall hazards as the worker acting as a qualified rigger was not trained to do rigging and did not recognize the poor condition of the tree causing the tree to fail when the crane begin to apply tension to the load. Violation occurred on or about July 10, 2021.
