29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): The employer did not ensure that an employee using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator is fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) is used, and at least annually thereafter: (a) Steel Burning Area: On July 16, 2021 and times prior, employees are required to wear 3M half mask air purifying respirators while torch cutting steel scrap. The employer has not ensured that the employees were fit tested prior to the required respirator use and then annually thereafter.
