Bedford St., Woburn, MA On or about, July 17, 2021, employees were exposed to being struck in the head from falling tools, equipment solar panel parts while working on the ground and from ladders below the workers installing the solar panel system on the roof.

The Sunrun Solar, Inc. company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1342329, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 12, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 63-19 90th Street, Howard Beach, NY 11414.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2)(ii): The employer did not assure that each employee, as necessary, had been trained by a competent person in the correct procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling and inspecting the fall protection systems to be used: 29 S Bedford St., Woburn, On or about, July 17, 2021, employees were exposed to falls of up to 22 feet while installing a solar energy system on a residential single-family house roof were not adequately trained in the installation, used and limitations of the personal fall arrest and restraint equipment, anchorage installation and use, the allowable working zones to reduce the risk of swing falls and improper loading. The Sunrun Solar, Inc. company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1191351, citation number 1, item number 1B and was affirmed as a final order on January 23, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 19 Pine Knoll Road, Southwick, MA 01077.
