29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor an alternative fall protection measure that meets a provision described in paragraph (b) of this section. On or about July 21, 2021, and at times prior thereto, six workers were installing shingles without the use of fall protection up to approximately 12 feet from the ground, exposing the workers to a fall hazard.
