Poplar Ave., Elmhurst, IL 60126, Employees engaged in construction activities on floor level were not provided a hard hat. Employees at levels of height were engaged in removing siding and throwing it to ground , this exposed employees at ground level to head injuries from falling objects.

Poplar Ave., Elmhurst, IL 60126, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet while on a pump-jack removing siding from the residence. Fall protection was not being utilized while engaged in residential construction activities.

The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: On or about July 23, 2021, at jobsite located in 324 S. Poplar Ave., Elmhurst, IL 60126, employees performing siding removal at a residential property were exposed to fall hazards in approximately 12 feet, with no fall protection when the employer failed to ensure they were adequately trained to recognize and minimize the hazards associated with fall.
