29 CFR 1910.243(e)(1)(i): Power lawnmowers of the walk- behind, riding-rotary, and reel power lawnmowers were not guarded in accordance with the machine guarding requirements in 29 CFR 1910.212, General requirements for all machines: a) On or about July 22, 2021 at the cabin park employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while operating Gravely Zero Turn Mower (M:991121, S:050158) and the employer did not ensure the riding lawnmower was guarded in accordance with the machine guarding requirements in 29 CFR 1910.212 in that the chute guards had been removed from the mower decks.

29 CFR 1960.8(a): The Agency head did not furnish employment and a place of employment to each employee that were free from recognized hazards that caused or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm: a) On or about July 22, 2021 at the recreational vehicle and cabin grounds employees performing mowing operations on Gravely zero turn mower (M:991121, S:050158 and S: 051298) were exposed to roll-over hazards including caught-in, crushing hazards and the employer did not ensure employees were protected from mower struck-by and roll-over hazards in that mower operators were operating the mowers without using the seat belts.
