Employees performing welding and final deck fastening atop the structure were exposed to falls of 32ft 9 ? inches to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.761(b):The employer did not train each employee exposed to a fall hazard in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.761: a) Janotta & Herner, on or about July 28, 2021 at the address of 6615 Maumee Western, Maumee, OH: The employer did not ensure that employees had been trained in the recognition of fall hazards commonly created during steel erection activities. Employees unfamiliar with the requirements of fall protection during steel erection activities were exposed to falls up to 32 ft 9 1/2 inches.
