29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a. At 7259 Old Plank Rd, in Jacksonville, Florida, on the main production floor, on the Helyligenstaedt engine lathe, at the work holding device of the chuck: On or about July 28, 2021 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to a pinch point, in that a chuck guard was not installed on the engine lathe. b.
