29 CFR 1926.352(d): Suitable fire extinguishing equipment was not immediately available in the work area(s) where welding, cutting, or heating was being performed: (a) Closet - On or about July 29, 2021, a construction worker was operating an arc welder while constructing tubular steel framing and did not have a portable fire extinguisher immediately available. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
