29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used. Crossbraces were used as a means of access. a. 1 Eighth Street, Frenchtown, NJ - Country Classics at Frenchtown The employer did not ensure safe means of access to scaffold platforms. Employees engaged in residential siding using an Alum-A-Pole pump jack scaffold, were observed accessing the scaffold platform by jumping down from the roof, approximately 4 feet, as a means of access to the work platform. Violation observed on or about August 3, 2021

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i):Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms: a. 1 Eighth Street, Frenchtown, NJ - Country Classics at Frenchtown The employer did not ensure guardrails were installed along all open sides of a scaffold platform. Employees engaged in residential siding used an Alum-A-Pole pump jack scaffold that did not have end rails installed on the open end of that scaffold. Violation observed on or about August 3, 2021
