29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) 5280 Productions LLC at 4640 North Pecos Street in Denver, CO: On or before July 27, 2021, the employer did not ensure that employees working at Momentum Recycling, LLC at 11331 Dillon Road in Broomfield, Colorado were protected from crushing and amputation hazards while working near unguarded equipment throughout the plant. Employees were exposed to ingoing nip points on a rotary airlock, conveyor rollers, and conveyor pulleys. This condition exposed employees to crushing and amputation hazards.
