29 CFR 1910.272(g)(1)(i):The permit for entering bins, silos, or tanks in the grain handling facility did not certify that the precautions contained in 29 CFR 1910.272(g) had been implemented prior to employees entering the bins, silos, or tanks: On or about June 27, 2021 at the jobsite located at At 545 N. Bird Ave. BIRD CITY, KS , KS 67731 in Grain Bin 7, Employer failed to protect employees from grain engulfment due to; employer failed to make sure employees were using the permits properly to perform grain bin entry. Employees were filling out bin entry permits without a supervisor on site and the supervisor was signing these permits days after the permit was created.
