29 CFR 1910.305(j)(3)(i): Appliances may not have live parts exposed to contact other than parts functioning as open-resistance heating elements, such as the heating elements of a toaster, which are necessarily exposed. (a) On or about August 9, 2021, and at times prior to that date, for the employees exposed to electrical hazards where a 120 volt lighted magnifying glass appliance was operated with a broken cord attachment cover in the maintenance shop located at 755 South Rock Blvd, Reno, Nevada.
