29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):  Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b).  On or about August 4,2021, at the jobsite the employer did not ensure that employees, working from a roof of a multistory residential building, were in use of fall protection.  This exposed the employees to a fall hazard greater than six(6) feet to the ground below.  De Los Santos Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1517922, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 21, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 6609 154th Street Edmond, OK.  De Los Santos Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1483344, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 16, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 6809 NW 155th Street Edmond, OK.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access.  On or about August 4 ,2021 at the jobsite, the employer did not ensure the side rails of an extension ladder extended at least three (3) feet above the landing on the roof of a residential building and the ladder was not secured to prevent displacement.  The employees used the ladder to access the roof and this exposed the employees to a fall hazard.   De Los Santos Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1483344, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on September 16, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 6809 NW 155th Street Edmond, OK.
