29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(8):Ladders placed in a location where they could be displaced by workplace activities or traffic, such as in passageways, doorways, or driveways, were not secured to prevent accidental displacement, nor was a barricade used to keep the activities or traffic away from the ladder. Location - 12 Forrester St. Salem, Ma On or about August 9, 2021, employees scraping the exterior walls were not protected from falls to a lower level. The employer did not ensure that a ladder was secured from being displaced causing a employee to fall to the ground level.
