29 CFR 1926.403(i)(2)(i):Live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by cabinets or other forms of enclosures, nor by any of the means listed in subparagraphs (A) through (D) of this paragraph: a) Naval Station Dam Neck Building 407: On or about 08/06/2021, 120 volts wall mounted receptacle outlets were not guarded against accidental contact in that the covers and screws were removed causing the outlets to hang thus exposed employees to live conductor terminals. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.404(b)(1)(ii): On a construction site, where an assured equipment grounding program was not utilized, all 120-volt, single-phase, 15 and 20 ampere receptacle outlets which were not a part of the permanent wiring of the building or structure and which are in use by employees did not have approved ground fault circuit interrupters for personal protection: a) Naval Station Dam Neck Building 407: On or about 08/06/2021, employees used a Bosch Bulldog Xtreme Max rotary hammer drill, connected to a yellow 50ft extension cord and plugged directly into the permanent power of the building without a ground fault circuit interrupter protection device. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
