29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(i): Each employee on walking/working surfaces was not protected from falling through holes (including skylights), more than six feet (1.8 m) above lower levels, by personal fall arrest systems, covers, or guardrail systems erected around such holes.(a) Location: 17 Brewer Street New London, CT: On or about August 13, 2021, the employer did not provide guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems and did not provide a fall protection plan for its employees. Employees were exposed to fall hazards between 6 to 8 feet fall from the ground floor to the basement due to a hole in the floor.
