29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1): The employer did not initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to comply with the standards set forth in 29 CFR 1926 as evidenced by the violation(s) noted during the course of the inspection. On or about August 11, 2021, Ehrlich Design Builders, Inc. as the Controlling Employer did not ensure that: a) That employees of its subcontractor were provided and used fall protection while on the roof engaged in remodeling activities; b) That employees used step ladders in the manner for which they were designed. EHRLICH DESIGN BUILDERS, INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1450357, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 13, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2490 W I-20, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050.
