29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v):A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. a) On or about 8/12/2021, at the Bay Towne Plaza , located on 1900 Empire Boulevard, in Rochester, New York, the employer did not provide fall protection to employees working in the basket of an articulating boom aerial lift. A harness with lanyard was not used to "tie off" to the boom basket and employees were exposed to falling 25 feet to lower levels. NO ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
